L-Glutathione: Small molecule made of linked amino acids and anti-oxidant naturally produced in the body. It is your body A.I.D (anti-oxidant, immune system, detoxifier). It is small protein molecule formed from the amino acids cysteine, glyceine, & glutamic acid. Also known as Master Antioxidant. And it is known as the toxic waste neutralizer of the body and regulates the actions of lesser antioxidants such as vitamin C, and vitamin E within the body. Glutathione in increased dose helps whiten skin by modifying conversion of eumelanine (dark/brown/yellow pigmentation) to phaeomelanin (reddish white pigmentation). This is the main reason why whiter skin is produced. Most dermatologists use it. It is proven to be very safe and effective.
Stabilized L-Ascorbic Acid: Powerful antioxidant with micro-delivery system, encourages collagen production, reverses sun damage, gently lightens hyper-pigmentation & age spots Brighten & even out skin tone. Reverse sun damage, lighten age spots, scarring, sun spots & freckles. Rebuild collagen & elastin for firmer, younger looking skin. Refine pore size; "an essential cofactor" for the synthesis of 2 enzymes (Lysylhydroxylase & polyhydroxylase) - which in turn catalyze the production of the amino acids required for producing collagen, the primary connective tissue in skin
Azelaic Acid & Mulberry Extract: Effective Skin Lightening and Depigmenting Agents
Palmaria palmata extract: inhibits the synthesis of melanin, limits its migration at the skin surface controlling thereby photoinduced pigmentation. It gives the skin a luminous and ultra-refined complexion.
Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) is a vitamin C derivative that has better stability than absorbic acid. MAP is often used for: UV protection and repair, collagen production, skin lightening and brightening, and as an anti-inflammatory. It is also a potent antioxidant.
Alpha Arbutin: A natural skin lightening/whitening agent. It works by slowly releasing hydroquinone through hydrolysis, which in turn blocks tyrosinase activity and reduces the skin’s melanin (pigmentation) production.
Retinol (10,000 I.U/g): Anti-aging and skin whitening.
Kojic Acid: Used extensively as a natural alternative to hydroquinone. Kojic acid is derived from a fungus, and studies have shown that it is effective as a lightening agent, inhibiting production of melanin (brown pigment).
Oil Soluble Licorice Extract: The ingredient that is responsible for the skin whitening aspect of the plant is known as glabridin. Glabridin inhibits pigmentation by preventing tyrosinase activation. Studies have shown that it can provide a considerable skin brightening effect while remaining non-toxic to the melanin forming cells.
Calcium Ascorbate: Commercially known as Ester C. A Non acidic and more stabilized form of vitamin C
Vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopherol): A fat soluble antioxidant vitamin that helps to neutralize potentially damaging free radicals in our body. It exists in eight different forms, d-alpha-tocopherol being the most active form and one of the most powerful biologically active antioxidants.
Vitamin B Complex (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12): Enhances body immune system and brighten the skin tone.
Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate: a very stable, oil-soluble Vitamin C ester which has anti-oxidant activity, inhibiting lipid peroxidation. Topical use can mitigate the damaging effects of UV exposure. Studies have shown it to stimulate collagen production as well as clarifying and brightening the skin by inhibiting melanogenesis (the production of pigment) thereby promoting a more even skin tone. Unlike ascorbic acid, it will not exfoliate or irritate skin.
